Founded in Lucca in 2015, the Faccini Piano Duo is formed by Italian-British siblings Elia and Betsabea Faccini.
The duo has rapidly established itself as a cornerstone of the four-hand piano landscape, embodying the richness and expressive power of this unique ensemble.
Winners of the Contest AMUR for New Talents 2022 (Perugia, Italy) and of the 28th Mirabent i Magrans Competition 2024 (Sitges, Spain), the Duo has been prize winner of thirty national and international awards.

The Faccini siblings are distinguished by their meticulously curated programs, which weave together original repertoire with orchestral transcriptions, film score arrangements and their own original compositions. Their intensity of sound and ability to transform every program into a narrative allow the Duo to traverse diverse worlds and genres, from the refinements of Ravel and Schubert to the jazz energy of Gershwin, through to Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces and the iconic cinematic scores of Williams and Morricone, consistently offering fresh and imaginative creative perspectives. The final goal is a constant quest for the “new”, with a close eye always on the orchestra, with its multiple colours, timbres and blends. Without doubt, this is a particularly fascinating world, it has the ability to stimulate musical inspiration and the artist’s imagination as few other things can do. It offers variety, ideas, stories, a constant dialogue between instruments... In this case, between four hands!
The duo maintains a regular presence at some of the most prestigious musical institutions, having performed for the Fondazione La Società dei Concerti (Milan), IUC – Concerti alla Sapienza (Rome), Unione Musicale (Turin), Teatro Regio di Parma, and the Società dei Concerti of both Parma and Trieste. Their activity has also led to collaborations with prominent festivals and foundations such as the Egerton Music Festival, Jeunesses Musicales International, Fondazione Perugia Musica Classica, and Musica Insieme Bologna.
A defining moment in their career was their October 2022 debut at the Teatro Regio di Parma in the production "Giovanna: La Pulzella, la fanciulla, l’allodola" alongside actress Lella Costa; commissioned by the Festival Verdi, the Duo performed their own original transcriptions of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Giovanna d’Arco.
In June 2024, they released their debut album, "Ravel: music for piano 4-hands," in collaboration with the Italian-Japanese label Da Vinci Classics.
The Duo has also been featured on radio stations such as Radio Musica con le Ali and Vatican Radio.
